Affirmation Tuesday

Welcome to Affirmation Tuesday! Each Tuesday I will provide a free coloring page and an affirmation that you can use to focus on while you are coloring. I have found that coloring lowers my heart rate and puts me in a state of quiet. Doing this, I am more receptive to Spirit so I use this time to say my affirmations over and over until they become a part of my consciousness. This is one of my favorites…Divine Order.  This affirmation affirms God is always working in our lives and the universe, even when we are not.  So, we need to be mindful to stay positive in our spirit by working our affirmations, speaking love and kindness, by always speak truth with love, and making sure that we are listening to God as we are lovingly directed towards our good.  Here is your affirmation for the week DIVINE ORDER IS ALWAYS AT WORK IN MY LIFE AND IN THE UNIVERSE. Seasons change, the sun and moon rise and set, and my heart beats—all without my instruction or even my permission.

When I trust that the presence of God within guides me in every moment of my life, I relax and become like a tree in the wind—open, flexible, and able to move in the direction I am guided. I have the courage to do my part and take necessary action in my life, but I have faith that God will ultimately lead me to my highest good. When I focus on fear, I become tense, resistant, and I lack clarity. As soon as I notice that my mind is focused on fear, I can consciously turn my thoughts to the presence of God.

Let go and let God... so appropriate as we live in the aftermath of Irma.  I have never seen Miami so brown.  The contractor that built my happy place came by to do an inspection of the Studio and said that he has never seen my yard so open.  We lost most of out trees during this hurricane.  We have dug out, and are in the restoration phase of this aftermath.  Putting our lives back together, putting items back where they belong seems daunting, so today I have let go and let God.  I am doing my part, and God has got the rest.  I am living in unity with God! Today is my Mommy's Birthday.  I choose this affirmation because I believe in answered prayer.  My mother fought and beat Lung Cancer through the power of prayer, laughter and the love of family and friends.  During that time I was too ill to rush to her side, and my constant prayer was that she was never alone, surrounded by only love and would have a good deep belly laugh everyday.  When my Favorite Auntie and her Favorite Cousin came to her side, I knew that my prayers had been answered.  In this one person coming, I knew that God had answered my prayer.  This was the trifecta of my prayer an

Yes, we have our own blog now!  How exciting is this?  Not only am I back, and on the road to some serious recovery, I have moved Affirmation Tuesday to a location where the single focus is on Affirmations and Coloring.  Affirmation Tuesday will remain the same and I plan on still including a coloring page.  I think coloring just a few minutes a day helps to center us and change our focus to within...this is where God is and we can connect one to one just for a little while each and every day.  When I say this will change your world, I mean it. It is such a great reminder as we go through our own internal wars that there are words to remind us of our inner strength.  I received a note today from my baby brother reminding me how strong I was and that I should see HOPE in every fiber of my being.  Well, My Inner Strength is greater than any outer appearances!  I must say I am standing strong and I have HOPE, JOY, and LOVE written all over me!  Here’s to your inner strength!
